SAFe® Scrum Master (SSM) Training

An ideal participant mix would be:

• New Scrum Masters who need to perform the role.
• Existing Scrum Masters who would like to understand their role in the context of a SAFe&Reg; enterprise.
• Team Leads who want to understand the Scrum Master role.
• SAFe® Release Train Engineers who want to coach Scrum Masters on their role.

Scrum Masters must be equipped to scale Agile to the enterprise and lead high performance teams. The SAFe® 5 Scrum Master (SSM) Certification is a test of the Scrum Master’s ability to perform the responsibilities of a Scrum Master and lead successful Agile teams. Our course will help you understand the objectives of the exam and aim for a first time pass of the exam. Attendance of this workshop is also a prerequisite for appearing for the exam.

You will get 16 PDUs with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for their certifications. Attendees may be eligible to apply for 16 SEUs under category C, toward earning or renewing their CSP through Scrum Alliance.

PDUs and SEUs are credits awarded by the Project Management Institute and the Scrum Alliance respectively. They recognize your dedication to the Project Management and Agile world through the award of credits for every educational effort you make throughout your career. At present, Scrum Alliance members who hold a Certified Scrum Professional®, Certified Enterprise Coach and/or Certified Scrum Trainer credential need to earn SEUs to get recertified. Every PMI® certification, except the CAPM®, requires you to earn a specific number of PDUs per three-year certification cycle.

Each session on the timetable will be live in order to meet your immediate queries and to help you make contributions where necessary.

Each session will be recorded and sent to your email. However, when you miss a class, you won’t have the opportunity to ask questions or make contributions during the class but you can listen to the questions your colleagues have during the live session.
